Beloved DAISY is based on the original 18-inch Kestner 171 version and the sweet little Daisyettes are 11-inch Bleuette-sized in both the Handwerck and Kestner 171 versions. Little Star is a sweet Bleuette sized Simon Halbig 1448. Sweetest innocent little face with a partially pouty look; And Thursday's Child is another lovely Simon & Halbig from mold #1488, a sweet character child. Both these gorgeous little Simon & Halbig dolls are adorable companions to Daisyette and other Bleuette-sized dolls, wearing the same sized wardrobes. All of these adorable dolls are available with Sleep Eyes as an option, set as the old dolls were made on rockers to open and shut.

French Milettes is a term coined by the late Mildred Seeley to describe exquisite petite clones of fine and rare French antique dolls. All are gorgeously petitie and lovely ... Milettes are assembled on a very pretty and shapely, petite and fully jointed 9-piece (or eleven-pc with movable hands/wrists) all-bisque body OR composition F rench Bebe styled body - Your Choice! The dolls noted as French Fashion are assembled w/ the lovely lady-styled French Fashion Composition Body, fully articulated and posable. These cabinet-sized beauties feature fine mohair or human hair wigs, expressive paperweight glass eyes and choice of costume styles and colors. They are dressed in a color-scheme choice, in fine French Bebe styles for the Milettes, or French Fashion styles for the French Fashion Dolls ( or available undressed for those who love to costume their dolls!)

Such precious little GEMS! All little Mignonnettes have very pretty all-bisque bodies, lined with felt or leather to protect their joints. Some come with molded footwear, some without (see below) Little Mohair wigs are quite appropriate for these wee ones. All of them have inset glass eyes. They range in size from 4 inches to just over 8 inches ... they are simply superb!

FRENCHETTES

Frenchettes are very coveted and exquisite French dolls, cabinet-sized (most 12 inches to 19 inches) and are of EXTREME heirloom quality . They are assembled on authentic french-style jointed composition bodies or optional kidd leather gusseted-body with shoulder plate, bisque limbs.

This collection includes some of the most sought-after and carefully crafted replicas of beloved antique French Bebes, dolls whose original counterparts costs thousands of dollars. An authentic recreation can be acquired for less and will definitely appreciate in value through the years as the older dolls become more and more scarce. All dolls in this series are made with quality paperweight glass eyes, fine mohair or human hair wig choices. If costumed is chosen, outfits are constructed of appropriate fabrics and adornments and are of a period and timeframe appropropriate to the history of these beautiful French Bebes. I often work from a photo of an antique while recreating a doll and / or her costuming.

GERMANETTES -

These lovely and charming dolls represent the famed German character children, baby dolls, sweet Googly dolls and the wonderful "dolly-faced" dolls of yester-year. These are extraordinary beautiful dolls

They have authentically made jointed composition bodies. Most of the BABY DOLLS are "cloth-bodied" with bisque arms, legs. Sleep-eyes are a popular option for the wonderful Germanettes!
